Join us as we interview author J.D .Barker, renowned for his thrilling novels, including Forsaken, The Fourth Monkey, and Dracul (co-authored with Bram Stoker’s family using Bram’s original notes and journals). With a reputation for pushing the boundaries of suspense and supernatural storytelling, his works have appeared on bestseller lists worldwide, and Dracul is currently in development for film by Paramount. J.D. Barker is a bestselling author known for his suspense thrillers. Growing up in Crystal Lake, he developed a passion for reading and storytelling, inspired by classic authors like Shelley and Poe. After moving to Englewood, Florida, he pursued a business degree while working in journalism, eventually launching a column on haunted places.

Barker gained recognition with his debut novel, Forsaken, which was endorsed by Stephen King and achieved significant indie success. He later co-authored Dracul with Bram Stoker's family and published the acclaimed thriller The Fourth Monkey. With a string of bestselling titles and collaborations with James Patterson, Barker remains an influential voice in modern fiction. He resides between Englewood, Florida, and New Castle, New Hampshire, with his wife Dayna and their daughter Ember.
